03.08.2022

Ex-chairman of Zhogorku Kenesh Altai Borubayev, ex-governor of Talas region Iskender Aidaraliev, MP of the "legendary" parliament Beksultan Ishimov, chairman of the Union of Builders of the Kyrgyz Republic Askarbek Moldobayev and public figures Kamaldin Bazarkulov, Jenish Minbayev and Nurlan Karypkulov have visited Jeruy site. They had a look at the main production facilities and samples of building materials at the tailings dump.

The aqsaqals (respectable seniors) saw it for themselves that the tailings dump was safe and that Jeruy uses cutting-edge technologies. Iskender Aidaraliev emphasized that the deposit can significantly boost the economic status of the region. "We, aqsaqals from Talas, have addressed the leaders of Alliance Altyn, the company exploiting Jeruy, to organize our trip to the deposit to explore the gold mining process there. We have seen a modern plant. Now we know that the waste was kept dry," he said. "The money earned from gold mining can be spent on acts of kindness. With both the region and the country as beneficiaries".

Altai Borubayev expressed his previous concerns about the impact of gold mining on the population and the environment. "Since its very start, I have hoped that it would not harm nature and people. Having seen the site and waste dump today, I was satisfied. The site has state-of-the-art equipment, and the dump is safe," he said.

At the round table, the aqsaqals learned the strategic development plan of Talas region proposed by Alliance Altyn. The company's senior leaders answered their questions. "I really like this plan. If it is implemented, Talas will prosper. I appreciate this step made by the company," Askarbek Moldobayev said.

After the lengthy discussion of the plan, all the guests approved and supported it.

The leaders of Alliance Altyn also informed them that 5,052 kg of gold was produced as of June 30, 2022. Since its establishment, the company has paid 13.2 billion soms to the budget of the Kyrgyz Republic. In 2022, Alliance Altyn plans to mine 1 million 79 thousand tons of ore on Jeruy site and produce 3,996 kg of refined gold.

In conclusion, the seniors took part in the award ceremony of the Spartakiad held by Alliance Altyn on the Day of the Steel Worker.
