A year ago, at the very same day, the Talas Gold Mining Plant was solemnly opened. It took our company six years to get ready for this significant event. Компания стала одним из крупнейших инвесторов в Кыргызской Республике.

The events of October 2020, when unknown individuals broke into the production area and caused tremendous damage to the company, didn't stop us. We kept working, remaining firmly convinced that our project is extremely important for the country's economy, and that nothing will prevent the plant's proper functioning.

The Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation have great potential for implementing joint strategic projects. And the development of Jeruy is an example of successful work in this area.

Throughout all of its activities, our company pays all taxes and fees in a timely manner and invests in the environmental protection. We implement many social and charitable projects.

WHAT WORK HAS BEEN DONE AT THE JERUY IN A YEAR

TAX DEDUCTIONS

As of March 10, Alliance Altyn LLC made payments of taxes to the republican and local budgets to a total amount of more than 5 billion KGS, including 2 billion 644.2 million KGS from the proceeds of gold sales.

As of March 10, allocations to the local budget for the development and maintenance of local infrastructure in the amount of 2 % of revenues amounted to 272,288,264 KGS:

• Talas Oblast Development Fund (50 %) got 136,144,132 KGS.
• Talas District Development Fund (30 %) got 81,686,479 KGS.
• Development Fund of Bekmoldo rural area (20 %) got 54,457,653 KGS.

HUMAN RESOURCES

Alliance Altyn LLC has 674 employees:

• There are 90 workers from Bishkek (13 % of the total staff).
• 186 workers come from other regions (28 %).
• 398 employees (59 %) come from Talas oblast, including 159 employees (24 % of the total number of employees from Talas oblast) from the Bekmoldo rural area.

TRAINING

361 people were trained in Talas oblast:

• 120 people (33 % of the total number of trainees) came from the Bekmoldo rural area.
• 90 people are from Talas district (25 %).
• 18 people are from Manas district (5 %).
• 35 people are from Bakai-Ata district (10 %).
• 37 people are from Kara-Buura district (10 %)
• 61 people are from Talas (17 %)

According to the results of the selection committee, as of March 10, 199 people out of those who completed the training got jobs in the Alliance Altyn LLC:

• 70 of these people come from the Bekmoldo rural area (35 % of the total number of people trained in the area).
• 54 people are from Talas district (27 %).
• 10 people are from Manas district (5 %).
• 18 people are from Bakai-Ata district (9 %).
• 17 people are from Kara-Buura district (9 %).
• 30 people are from Talas (15 %).

THE WAY ALLIANCE ALTYN MONITORS COMPLIANCE WITH ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARDS

Strict compliance with all environmental and safety requirements in operations is one of the major priorities of the Alliance Altyn company. Ore is processed using the vat leaching technology with subsequent neutralization inside the main building of the gold extraction plant (The Mill). Cakes (industrial waste) coming to the tailings storage facility correspond to the 5th class of hazard (practically safe), nevertheless, they are securely isolated within the storage facility.

Jeruy also has a closed water cycle, in which the tailings pond serves as the Mill's internal water reservoir. This minimizes water intake from the Tush-Ashuu River and ensures zero discharge into the environment.

Alliance Altyn LLC transfers 795,000 KGS monthly to a special recultivation fund. As of March 2022, the special reclamation account has accumulated 33 million 293 thousand KGS. Control over observance of sanitary and environmental norms at the Jeruy is carried out by the company's specialists on a daily basis.
