Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov visited the Jeruy deposit on January 22 as part of a working trip to the Talas oblast. At the mine, Akylbek Zhaparov was met by the heads of Alliance Altyn LLC, represented by CEO Sabir Rakhmatov, Deputy CEO for Production Konstantin Chuprin, Deputy CEO for Legal Affairs Adilet Akmataliev, as well as other specialists of the company. They briefed the head of the Cabinet of Ministers about the work of the gold extraction plant and the state of the tailings pond, where cakes (production waste) are stored dry.

"As of January 10, Altyn Alliance LLC paid 4 billion 20 million KGS in taxes to the national and local budgets. Contributions for the maintenance and development of local infrastructure amounted to 209.6 million KGS. The company has created 1,367 jobs. 97% of employees are citizens of Kyrgyzstan (70% of them are residents of Talas oblast). We work according to international standards and strictly comply with environmental regulations. We regularly carry out projects for the socio-economic development of Talas oblast," Sabir Rakhmatov said.

In addition, the Alliance Altyn leaders announced large-scale strategic socio-economic projects, which will have a multiplicative effect on the Talas oblast.
