On September 17, 2021, a bilateral collective labor agreement was signed at the Jeruy production site by Sabir Rakhmatov, CEO of Alliance Altyn LLC, and Kubat Bolotkanov, chairman of the trade union committee. The call agreement was signed by the administration of Alliance Altyn and members of the trade union committee, who are employees of the company. The union has 450 members in total so far.

This collective bargaining agreement fully complies with the Labor Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and is designed to achieve common goals in strengthening the financial position of the Association, which provides jobs and benefits to its employees. The parties agreed that work practices and procedures will be based on the principles of flexibility and efficient use of resources in order to ensure high productivity and profitability of the Company, which, in turn, will help preserve jobs.

The contract also states that the Union agrees to assist the Company in its activities by the methods and means available to the Union.

CEO Sabir Rakhmatov noted that the collective agreement was made considering all the proposals received from employees — members of the Trade Union, and is a key document to enhance and optimize the internal workflow in the company, creating the most convenient working conditions.

The collective agreement provides certain benefits to employees that exceed those stipulated in the Labor Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, and includes terms on wages, working hours, health care, and benefits to the employees and their familes. At the same time, it also includes mutual obligations, which must be strictly adhered to. According to the chairman of the trade union committee Kubat Bolotkanov, the main features of the contract are social benefits, long-service bonuses and the annual indexation of wages subject to the growth of consumer prices and positive financial results of the Association.

"The collective bargaining agreement was drafted throughout the year, taking all features of the Jeruy project and the interests of union members into account. We're glad that the Alliance Altyn executives met us halfway during the negotiations, which led to a mutually beneficial agreement," K. Bolotkanov said.

The document is drawn up for three years in accordance with the provisions of Article 43 (1) of the Labour Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
