01.09.2021

On August 30-31, Alliance Altyn held a Spartakiade for its employees.

Konstantin Chuprin, deputy CEO for production, said that six teams (19 people each) took part in the competition. There were four kinds of sports on the programme. Football and volleyball players were awarded 20,000 KGS each for winning the championship, 15,000 for coming in second place and 10,000 for finishing third. The gold factory team won both tournaments. Winners of the chess and table tennis events received five thousand KGS each, silver medallists got three thousand and bronze medallists ― two thousand each. Chingiz Badachiyev was the best in chess and Zhalkyn Ismailov ― in table tennis.

In addition, 20 best employees of the Talas gold mine were awarded branded waistcoats. They were made by the company that provided the outfit for the participants during the recent Tokyo Olympics. All departments of Alliance Altyn and individual participants of the Spartakiade were awarded certificates of merit. "No one was left unattended," said Konstantin Chuprin.

Metallurgists in Kyrgyzstan celebrate their professional holiday every year on the third Sunday of July. However, due to the tense epidemiological situation, it was impossible to hold the Spartakiade in July. It was postponed until things got better and ended up coinciding with both Miners' Day (29 August) and the Independence Day of Kyrgyzstan (31 August). Spartakiade aims at team building and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle," said Arna Tynalieva, Deputy CEO for Human Resources at Alliance Altyn.
