Meeting with the Bekmoldo deputies at the Jeruy PS

At the initiative of Alliance Altyn Company, newly elected deputies of Bekmoldo ayil district visited the Jeruy production site. The delegates were introduced to the gold extraction plant, where they got acquainted with the ore processing technology. The deputies also visited the tailings dump and checked its condition. The company's experts gave a comprehensive overview of the Jeruy field and its processing facility.

This was followed by a round table discussion, with the executives of Alliance Altyn, local kenesh deputies, as well as representatives of a large stock-breeding company invited to the event, with the latter introducing promising projects to be implemented in the Talas oblast. Two documents were signed: a memorandum of cooperation and permanent partnership with the Bekmoldo aiyl district, as well as an agreement on the provision of agricultural development assistance by Alliance Altyn through the introduction of new machinery.

During the roundtable, environmental, employment and production technology issues were raised at the Jeruy PS. Sabir Rakhmatov, CEO of Alliance Altyn LLC, reported that as of August 20 this year, the company transferred 2,000,781,000 KGS to the national and local budgets within the framework of Jeruy project implementation. Of these, taxes paid from the proceeds of gold sales amounted to over 902 million KGS. Over 93 million KGS have been transferred for the development and maintenance of local infrastructure in the Talas oblast. Furthermore, the production process was noted to be completely environmentally friendly.

Arna Tynalieva, Deputy CEO for Human Resources, spoke on the key aspects of recruitment at Jeruy PS. She noted that staff members are selected as transparently as possible. The inclusion of local community representatives in the selection panel is envisaged.

After a long and thorough discussion, the round table ended with the parties affirming their intention to collaborate closely on the development of Talas.
