Alliance Altyn LLC makes environmental payments in strict accordance with the Methodology of determining payments for environmental pollution in the Kyrgyz Republic, approved by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on September 19, 2011 № 559. During the construction of the Talas Gold Mining Complex (TGMC) in 2018-2020, environmental payments amounted to more than 2 million KGS. After the launch of the TGMC, 2,550,873 KGS were transferred to the Talas territorial administration over the first month and a half of the first quarter of this year alone.

Since the launch of extraction at the Jeruy deposit, Alliance Altyn LLC has developed and implemented an ecological program aimed at monitoring the environmental conditions in the area of the enterprise's influence. The monitoring program is meant to cover all seasons of the year. For example, in February 2021 natural water studies were carried out in the license area and adjacent territories, along with evaluation of the ash collectors efficiency in the boilers of the TGMC operating in the heating season.

Surface water studies for 45 various indicators were carried out at 20 monitoring stations and in the lab. The results of the natural water quality survey revealed no negative deviations, all indicators of the chemical composition are either within the permissible concentration or below the sensitivity of the analysis method. Water content and quality in Jeruy, Chon-Chichkan, Kulmambes, Tush-Ashuu, Uch-Koshoi rivers correspond to the parameters previously established for the winter (low water season).

According to the survey results on observation wells below and above the TGMC tailings dump, the impact of tailings waste on groundwater was not detected, as no drainage water was found in the wells.

The survey results on operation of ash collectors in boiler plants of the enterprise showed that the efficiency of cleaning boiler emissions from ash is at the level of the passport values and thus meets the regulatory requirements.
