Start-up and commissioning work begins at the Talas Gold Ore Mill. The general contractor, AAEngineering Group, has carried out the main scope of construction and installation works, including the assembly of supporting structures, installation of the main process equipment and the pipeline. The construction of the tailings storage facility, the interdeposit road with the initial ore stockpile and other infrastructure facilities is fully completed.

Ore is being mined at the deposit 24 hours a day. As of today, 8.1 thousand tons of ore with an average gold grade of 1.2 grams per ton have been stockpiled.

As of January 9, 2020, 760 people are employed at the Jeruy production site, including contractor employees, 90% of whom are citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic. Alliance Altyn LLC continues to train and provide vocational education to local residents on a competitive basis. 380 people have already been trained with the prospect of employment at the mine.

Tax payments to the budget of Kyrgyzstan will increase with the beginning of the exploitation of the deposit. In 2020, the tax deductions will amount to about 2 billion KGS. From 2015 to January 1, 2020, the company paid 611 million 912,278 KGS in taxes.
