Future Alliance Altyn employees had an internship in Kazakhstan

Fifty-one trainees from among the Talas participants of the Jeruy Training Program have passed the first stage of practical training in their specialty. They were sent to practice based on the results of preliminary training conducted by the Interindustry Training Center under the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use of the Kyrgyz Republic. From September 1 to September 16, the group traveled to the Kazakhstani processing plants, Bes-Tube, Zholymbet, as well as to the Ak-Suu gold extraction plant.

The program included two parts, theoretical and practical. KAZERGO LLP specialists conducted a three-day theoretical training on industrial safety, with a final written exam for admission to practical training and work in production.

After that, the trainees began practicing at the AAE facilities. The trainees were given PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) uniforms. The operating group was divided into shifts, night and day. The task of the operations team was to master all the technological processes in production. At the end of the practical training, there was a final oral exam, with the assignment of the Hydrometallurgy and Enrichment operator qualification by category. According to the results of the examination, the trainees received the following skill categories:

  • 3rd category — 3 people;
  • 2nd category — 9 people;
  • 1st category — 37 people.

The internship was provided free of charge, including travel expenses, meals on the road, hotel accommodations in Stepnogorsk, and three meals a day. Trainees also received handouts on the curriculum.
