07.08.2019

On August 7, the signing ceremony of an agreement on the Alliance Altyn LLC joining the International Business Council (IBC) took place. Mikhail Shubin, CEO of Alliance Altyn, pointed out that the company was honoured to be a member of a reputable organisation that engages investors with state authorities and the public. Alliance Altyn has been working on the Jeruy project for the fourth year and is a few steps away from its goal, the start of mining operations. During this time, we have made a significant contribution both to the state economy, in the form of tax and investment contributions, and to the development of the socio-cultural sector. By joining the IBC, we intend to reach a new level of relationship with the business community," Mikhail Shubin said.

In turn, Askar Sydykov, Executive Director of the IBC, said that the Jeruy project is very important not only for the mining industry, but also for the entire economy of Kyrgyzstan. For our part, we will try our best to help launch and sustain this enterprise. Our association is made up of the country's largest investors, including those in the field of subsoil use. We are very pleased to welcome Alliance Altyn as a new member of our organisation", Askar Sydykov said.

We should add that the IBC, an association founded by foreign investors in December 2000, now brings together more than 110 companies with domestic and foreign capital, as well as development partners and diplomatic missions.
