Alliance Altyn organized free holidays for children from low-income families in Talas Oblast

On August 9, the children checked in for their fourth session at the Barchyn Children's Health Center, located in Talas district, in a wooded area on the bank of the Talas River. The holiday was attended by 150 children from economically disadvantaged families of Talas Oblast – there were 25 children from each district, the city of Talas and Bekmoldo aiyl aimak. All the costs of accommodation, food, and transportation to the CHC were covered by the Bakubat Talas Welfare Fund established by the Alliance Altyn LLC. The children were chosen in close cooperation with the district state administrations, Talas City Hall and Bekmoldo aiyl okmotu.

For the second year now, the Bakubat Talas Fund has been providing effective support to the Barchyn Children Recreation Center, which was commissioned more than 40 years ago and has not receiving any funds for renovation over a long period of time. In early 2017, the Fund provided 1 million KGS, which was used to completely renovate the roofing of the residential buildings in the CRC. 500,000 KGS were also allocated, which allowed 180 children from economically disadvantaged families in Talas oblast to take a free break during the school vacations.

In 2018, the Bakubat Talas Fund purchased 100 new beds and 120 sets of bedding for a total of 400 thousand KGS, which provided more comfortable environment for children to rest. In addition, this year the Fund has allocated 594,000 KGS for the arrangement of summer holidays for children from low-income families, which were used to purchase 150 vouchers and provide transportation for children to the vacation place.

In August 10, CRC Barchyn held a celebratory assembly, dedicated to the opening of the fourth session, which was attended by Deputy General Director of the Alliance Altyn LLC K. Musaev, Bakubat Talas Fund Director B. Abdanbek uulu, and the Center's management. The representatives of the Jeruy deposit developer wished the children a wonderful holiday and promised to keep collaborating on further improvement of the Center. Director of the CRC, Yrys Raimkulova said that the teaching staff will apply all their knowledge, skills and experience to ensure that the children have a good vacation. According to her, the Center employs expert educators who will teach children to sing, draw, and dance, contributing to the discovery of children's talents.
