In early 2017, residents of the villages of Bakay-Ata district of Talas oblast – Kyzyl-Oktyabr, Madaniyat, Urmaral, Kok-Tash and Tash-Kuduk – addressed the Bakubat Talas Fund with a request to help solve the drinking water issue.

According to residents, since the collapse of the Soviet Union, no repair or reconstruction of the water pipeline was carried out, as a result the villages were left without water supply.

According to the decision of the supervisory board of the Bakubat Talas Fund, 696 thousand KGS was allocated in March.

These funds were used to buy all the necessary construction materials, dig trenches, install pipes and connectors, and reconstruct the intake station.

On September 15, an official water supply ceremony was held for the villages of Bakay-Ata District – after a major overhaul of the water pipeline, the villagers received clean water.

Deputy General Director of Alliance Altyn K. Musaev, Head of Security A. Duisheev, leaders of Aknazarov aiyl district and local residents attended the solemn event.

The villagers thanked the company and the Fund for their responsiveness and prompt resolution of their issue.

The Bakubat Talas Fund also supported the appeal of the residents of Chat-Bazar village in the Omuraliev aiyl district. In August, 455 thousand KGS were allocated and used to buy all the necessary construction supplies, dig trenches, install pipes and connectors. The work is scheduled for completion in October 2017.
