The first organizational meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Bakubat Talas Fund took place
On November 30, 2016, the first organizational meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Bakubat Talas Fund institution was held in Talas, during which a number of issues were considered and the following decisions were made:
 
 1.    An agreement was approved and adopted with the Commercial Bank of Kyrgyzstan OJSC to set the rate of 8 % per annum on loans within the target financing of small and medium-sized businesses.
 
2.    Taking the comments and suggestions into account, the draft regulations on the Supervisory Board of the Bakubat Talas Fund were approved.
 
3.    As a result of reviewing the applications received, the Bakubat Talas Fund was instructed to accept the following projects for implementation:
  • Assistance to the rehabilitation center for children with disabilities in the Kara-Buura district for a total amount of 281,510 KGS (purchase of furniture, a kitchenette, a chef's table, a computer desk, a sink, a washing machine, an Ariston water heater, improvement of the yard and sanitation work).
  • On the construction of a two-apartment service house for employees of the Talas Oblast DIA at a total cost of 1 million 748 thousand 973 KGS.
  • On overhaul of the building of Talas oblast hospital of war and labor veterans for a total amount of 1 million 500 thousand KGS.
  • On overhaul of the building of the Nariste kindergarten in Talas village of Manas district in the amount of 306 thousand 910 KGS.
 In addition, on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3, 2016, it was decided to provide financial support to social institutions and rehabilitation centers for children with disabilities in the amount of 50,000 KGS (10,000 KGS for each district and Talas city).
 
As part of the implementation of the decisions of the Supervisory Board of November 30, 2016, the following activities have been carried out so far:
 
 
1.    On December 2, 2016, at the opening ceremony of the Ayar Zhan Center for Children with Disabilities in Kyzyl Adyr village of Kara-Buura district with the participation of the head of Talas oblast D. Kenekeev, the Director of the Bakubat Talas Fund B. Abdanbek uulu presented a certificate for renovation, purchase of necessary equipment and furniture worth 280,000 KGS.  
 
2.    On the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3, 2016 in cooperation with local authorities and members of the Supervisory Board:
  •  Inclusive group of children with disabilities from Balastan kindergarten in Talas received 10,000 KGS for the purchase of basic necessities.
  •  The Taldy Bulak Rehabilitation Center in Talas District received 3,000 KGS on account of debt repayment for electricity and 7,000 KGS for the treatment of particularly vulnerable children;  
  •  The Bakay-Ata rehabilitation orphanage in the Bakay-Ata district was presented with winter clothes for children for a total of 10,000 KGS.
  •  The Rehabilitation Center in Pokrovka village of Manas district received solid fuel (coal) in the amount of 10,000 KGS.
  • A gas stove at a cost of 10,000 KGS was donated to the Ayar Zhan Center for Children with Disabilities in the Kara-Buura District.
 
 For reference:
Bakubat Talas Fund was established by Alliance Altyn LLC, which holds the license to exploit the Jeruy gold deposit, in accordance with the license obligations and the Agreement with the Representative Office of the KR Government in Talas oblast dated June 17, 2016.

The main purpose of the Fund is to support the social and economic development of Talas oblast by providing assistance in the implementation of various business projects, social, educational, athletic and other programs for the local community.

The governing bodies of the Bakubat Talas Fund are: Founder, Supervisory Board and Director.

By the decision No. 2 of the Sole Founder of Alliance Altyn LLC dated November 4, 2016 "On the appointment of the Chairman of the Supervisory Board and confirmation of the Supervisory Board structure", members of the Supervisory Board, represented by all district administrations of Talas oblast and Talas city hall, were approved by agreement with the local kenesh deputies. K. A. Musaev, deputy director of government relations and security at Alliance Altyn LLC, was approved as chairman of the Supervisory Board as a representative of the founder.
