The first shift rotation in the last 60 days at the Jeruy PS

On May 11, 48 employees of Alliance Altyn LLC rotated shifts at the Jeruy production site: they have been at the mine for 60 days due to an emergency situation.

The shift workers underwent quarantine treatment in one of the Bishkek hotels. All of them underwent primary and secondary PCR assays for COVID-19 in a specialized laboratory. All 48 people have negative results.

The recommendations established by the operational headquarters of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic were strictly followed. The shift workers were kept in the observation center in full isolation, unauthorized persons and parcels were not allowed in the hotel rooms. The drivers also underwent medical examinations, passed rapid tests, and their vehicles were disinfected.

At the end of the observation period, the Main Department of Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic provided four company vans with a green corridor to transport employees to the mine. Then 28 people who had been at the Jeruy PS for two months returned home.

The Alliance Altyn expresses its gratitude to the head of the Main Directorate for Road Safety of the MIA of the Kyrgyz Republic, Lieutenant Colonel A. B. Israilov, who, upon completion of the observation activities, assisted in escorting minibuses with rotational workers along the route from Bishkek to Jeruy.

Patrol cars and operational police units at the intersections in Bishkek ensured the movement of minibuses without stopping at traffic lights from the hotel to the border of Sokuluk district, then the staff was escorted through the Chui and Talas oblasts by police officers of the DRS of the MIA of the Kyrgyz Republic according to the administrative-territorial principle. Shift workers were transported by four 18-seat buses, in accordance with the requirements of the Republican Headquarters on the partial seating of passengers in vehicles.

Law enforcement officers considered the fact that the state of emergency is still in effect on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, and there are various checkpoints along the Bishkek-Talas route, where a large accumulation of vehicles occurs. With these problems in mind, the management of the DRS organized a step-by-step escort of company personnel to the final destination.

Chief Physician of Talas oblast A. E. Shambetova, based on primary and secondary PCR results, assisted the rotational workers in free crossing of the checkpoint at Taldy-Bulak. Following her recommendation, the company's staff did not stop anywhere from the hotel to the final destination and did not allow any contact.
