On March 20, there was a kok-boru tournament for the Cup of the Authorized Representative of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in Talas oblast. The general sponsor of the tournament was Alliance Altyn, which has allocated 100 thousand KGS for the prize fund.

Teams from 4 districts of Talas oblast and the city of Talas participated in the games.

Tournament results:

• first place and a prize of 30 thousand KGS went to the team of Kara-Buura District;
• second place and a prize of 20 thousand KGS went to the team of Moscow District;
• third place and a prize of 10 thousand KGS went to the team of Talas;
• fourth place and additional money prizes went to the teams of Bakai-Ata and Talas districts.

A resident of Manas district, Midin Arykbaev, born in 1979, was declared the best player of the tournament. A steed named Chabalekei from the Kara-Buura district became the best horse.

On March 21, in honor of the Nooruz holiday, competitions in ulak tartysh were held in Bekmoldo aiyl okmotu. Teams from Khan-Burgo, Kenesh, Sasyk-Bulak, Kara-Oi villages came to compete. Alliance Altyn allocated 150 thousand KGS for the competition. The winners were awarded by Oital Osmonov, deputy CEO of the company, and Marat Murataliev, authorized representative of the government of the Kyrgyz Republic in Talas oblast.
