On April 7, 2023, Kubat Kaseinov, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision, on a working visit to Talas region, learned about Alliance Altyn’s activities in the field of environmental and industrial safety. He visited the gold processing plant and the tailings dumps.

In response to questions from local media, Kubat Kaseinov voiced his belief that the company, operating in compliance with domestic and international standards, applying advanced technologies, has minimized the environmental impact. Deputy Minister added that the Ministry continuously monitors the company’s activities.

He also planted trees as part of the republican Zhashyl Muras campaign. The company planted 200 seedlings of coniferous species at the gold mining site. As of today, a total of 2,411 seedlings of over ten kinds of trees have been planted at Jeruy site.
